Coordination Meeting between the countries which have inscribed Mediterranean diet on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity
The Republic of Croatia has been confirmed as coordinator and host country to the 2018 Coordination Meeting on Mediterranean diet, and so the 8th Coordination Meeting for the protection and promotion of Mediterranean diet, a cultural good inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity of Greece, Italy, Morocco and Spain, extended in December 2013 with the accession of Croatia, Cyprus and Portugal, will be held in Stari Grad on the Island of Hvar in June 2018.
These meetings are held every year in one of the countries which have inscribed Mediterranean diet on the Representative List, and so far each meeting has resulted in an agreement regarding joint projects of documenting and promoting specific aspects of the protected good over the next two years.
