The Island of Cres Territory Charter

The Island of Cres Territory Charter is the final document of the Pilot Project of Local Development of the island, which was based on the cultural heritage potential as a driver of the local community social and economic development. Throughout a long-term participatory process and with the participation of various stakeholders, a broad consensus was reached during the project on the vision and strategic directions of the island development contained in the Territory Charter (Charter of Development of the Island of Cres). The Charter expresses the intention of the signatories to promote, protect and preserve the value of the island cultural heritage and to foster social and economic innovation with the participation of citizens and other local community stakeholders.
